20th September 2007, the first time I have took my foot on Bromo Mountain. Actually, there is no idea before to go to Bromo Mountain, but a spontaneus idea come from Angga to get a tour to some place that we all can take a rest for a while from our activities. We have several location as out tour destination, among other is Coban Pelangi Waterfall, Bromo Mountain, and Ranu Pane Lake. Finally, we (Me, Angga, Dicky, Ardi, Junias) agree to take a tour to Bromo Mountain.
At 20th September 2007 night, abount 22.00 o’clock we all meet together on Bungurasi Bus Station Surabaya, then leaving Surabaya to go to Probolinggo. After through pass curves road, at 03.00 we are arrive in the gate of Bromo Mountain Touristic Object. Immediately we park our car, then buy the tickets so we can go inside of Bromo Mountain Touristic Object. Ini Bromo Mountain Touristic Object, there are some touristic object among other is “Penanjakan“, “Sea of Sand“, “Crater“, and “Pura“.
Our first destination is “Penanjakan“, we will reveal today sunrise from this place. But, to go up there, we must rent a hartop to take us travel up to “Penanjakan“. It’s relative expensive for us to rent a hartop, about Rp. 300.000,- (hahaha… its make me have no money after that). Hartop take us arrived in “Penanjakan” at 04.00. Ohh my…. so cold there. There are several small shop that sell camping equipment like jacket, gloves, sock, and many others. Some small cafetaria sell hot drinks and instant foods.
About 05.00 o’clock, we are go to the grandstan. So we can take a place to view today sunrise. Apparently, until 06.00 o’clok, the sun doesn’t appear. May be he is shy… 
But we still waiting for that. Finally about 06.00, some light shine from the dark side. Yeah…here it come, sunrise has come today. The gutsy sun light up the day. So beautiful… We were all by turns take some picture on this moment.
About 07.00 o’clock, our rented hartop has arrived in “Penanjakan” pick up us to Bromo Mountain Crater. Its not quite long enough for us on the crater edges, caused by its sulfur smoke and smell. So we immediatelly going down over hundred stairs and wide enough sea of sand (cape’ deh… naik nya susah, turunnya males. kebanyakan anak tangga).
Yeah, now its time to go back to Surabaya. This tour nearly end. But, I think we were satified enough with this tour. We already seen an amazing creature, a sunrise. Nice tour bro!! Here some pictures taken by us.
